This year BSIP employees, presented and held workshops at the International Conference on Fiber Optic in Access Networks- FOAN.  Among many respectful sponsors of the conference, BSIP was one of them.

The main goal of the conference was to bring and present the latest research in the field of Fiber Optics Technologies for Networks. The idea behind the conference is to create the opportunity to learn new things by gathering scientists and experts from academies, industry and operators in this field that will during the workshop, share their knowledge, experience, and ideas.

BSIP employees had this very opportunity share and enhance awareness on standard essential patents in IP in Fiber Optics and 5G, by organizing two different sets of workshops. The workshops gave insights from the telecommunication filed, special focus on fiber optic telecommunications and 5G technology and opened discussions both on SEP and IP in Fiber Optics and telecommunications.

FOAN is also an IEEE-sponsored conference and conference content will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore and other Abstracting and Indexing databases.
